I am so grateful to these guys at this company. They were so helpful and nice and down to earth. (Also from what it looks like they came all the way from Brookfield, IL, and I live in Rogers Park, to help me.) I needed help with my clogged bathtub because it's been clogged for like two weeks now and I was tired of carrying 25 buckets a day at least of water to the toilet to get the water out. Matt and Tim were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and fast. I had booked them for various plumbing jobs, and a couple of the projects turned out to be more complicated than initially expected once the work began. Matt stayed as late as necessary to make sure everything was completely and correctly fixed. On top of handling unpredictable plumbing issues, Matt and his crew were incredibly professional in dealing with very challenging scheduling situations. These guys come highly recommended. Quite literally, I was in some sh*t and needed sewer line repair, which turned into sewer line replacement. They came, assessed the situation and explained it to me in a very digestible way. (Did I say digestible, when I was in some sh*t?? My bad.). Anyhow, after a full breakdown of the situation with my line, I hired them to do the job. After all the heavy rain Saturday and the street sewer getting clogged and flooding the street I discovered that water was bubbling up in my basement (Actually it wasnt just water it was sewage)I usually get my Sewer rodded from the catch base every August but the people that normally do that for me couldnt come out until August 12. This wasnt goning to work because as a result of the blockage every time we flushed the toilet sewage would bubble up in the basement and obviously we couldnt wait until the 12th of August to start using the toilet. I contacted Suburban Chicago Plumbing experts late Saturday and they sent Teddy out with his helper Josh on Sunday morning to rod out my catch basin. Unfortunately it was so blocked they werent able to clear it with the rotter alone. They did put the camera through to determine where the blockage was and what was going on so they then came out again in the evening with their Hydro Jetter and used the camera to pinpoint the exact location of the blockage and successful unblock it. A few months ago the city removed the massive parkway tree in front of my house but what I didnt realize is the tree roots can still cause blockage and will continue to grow even though the tree has been removed. Teddy made some recommendations on where to go to get this product to help slow down the tree root growth. I will definitely use them annually or bi annually for my catch basin rodding and to remove any new tree root growth. They have all of the best equipment and are very knowledgeable and also were willing to work with me and came out on a Sunday so that wed be able to use our bathroom without sewage backing up in the basement! As a new customer they treated me fabulously and it sounds like theyre ongoing regular customers are treated equally well! I highly recommend them and especially Teddy and Josh and will be using in the future for my annual maintenance and any other issues that may occur.

I had a another company come out to do a " free" inspection. The person obviously had no plumbing experience and I had to supply him pipe wrenches and a sewer cap. In the past I did a lot of plumbing. The camera was not focused so it made it impossible to see clearly. He concluded that the sewer had to be replaced at a cost of $25,000 . We are having our driveway replaced and I did not want to have the driveway tore up in the future. I called Allrite paving and asked if they could give me the name of a reputable company. When the plumber came out it was obvious that he was highly skilled and professional. He did the inspection and said that the sewer was fine. The other company advertises extensively and has red, white, and blue vehicles in the ads. The plumber let me see the inspection with a very clear and focused view. I would highly recommend this company. They know what they are doing and very honest.

Mike/Teddy cleaned out the house sewer lines today! In less than 2 hours, taking out big tree roots on the inside. they also vacuumed the grease basin taking out years of buildup that made the back of the house stink! completely and professionally. good quality work at reasonable cost. not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. what i appreciated most was they had a friendly conversational personality. they took the time to explain things when I had questions and walked me through their process. that's what separates good service from Great Service.

Mike and Matt are amazing! We were having issues with water backing up into our home. This has been an ongoing issue for years. Previous plumbers have not been able to figure out why this has been happening. Matt came out first and performed a camera inspection. Upon further investigation, Mike was able to locate a possible issue with our septic field. Our septic tank has required draining every 1.5 to 2 years, and issue could be contributing to it. Mike and Matt were easy to get a hold of and provided excellent service when we needed it most. I highly recommend and will be referring Suburban Plumbing Experts whenever I can.

After severe rainfall it was noted that there was something kind of sewer line repair that was needed in the Chicagoland area. It was noted that this had caused us to have problems in our basement leading to flooding. We were able to get that all cleaned up and they were very respectful and took care as handling items in the basement. They were able to check the sump pump and make sure everything was flowing properly. They were able to fix any issues and clean out the sump pump and check the backup battery as well. I was really happy with the staff and it was all done in a reasonable price and manner.

Of course you never need a sewer crew during the day. Mike answered right away after hours when I had a sewer emergency, and after not having a crew available to send, he was at my place within an hour. He cleared the problem and got my sewer flowing in no time. He then sent a camera in to show me where the issues are, and where I could have problems later. He gave me a very reasonable price for the immediate service, and options for how to proceed. I'll never call another sewer guy again, this guy is the absolute best. If you need sewer work at all, look no further.

I highly recommend Suburban plumbing. We called for an emergency where sewer water was coming from our drains in the basement. Mike and Bob were knowledgeable and were able to pin point the issue. They explained to us what they did and why we needed additional services for example the jet cleaning. The prices are not as high as other companies and can finance a project. Overall service was quick and efficient. I am glad to do business and will contract them for further projects.

I had a sewer backage on Tuesday night 12/10/25. Icalled Mike and told him about my situation and he said that he would be out the next morning at 8 am. From the time our 8 unit condo building was opened in 2016, until 2023, we had zero problems with plumbing. In late January 2023, after we had just gotten home from a trip to Tupelo, our main floor (we have a duplex down) kitchen sink water began rising on its own from drain water from upper floor units. My wife and I were like an old-time bucket brigade, running gallons from the sink to the powder room toilet to keep the water from cascading over our cabinets and onto the floor. We had a plumber come out and run a rod from under our kitchen sink into the main drain pipe, which started a drain flow of water again. This problem unfortunately returned in October 2023 (when we were just about to leave for vacation), as well as July and September 2024, July 2025 and most recently on November 3rd. Despite previously using two different large plumbing companies, none of them could locate where our buildings main 4 drain pipe was located (using metal detectors and cameras). So effectively each time they rodded from our kitchen, they were punching a small hole into the grease blockage, with the hole slowly closing back up. So we hired Suburban Chicago Plumbing Experts this time. They not only identified the problem, but also identified where our main drain pipes were located, and then went on to create new external clean-out pipes for our building so that now any future blockages can be gotten to easily. Suburban spent three hours using unique hydrojetting equipment which has a truck-based water heater furnace to melt away all of the grease which was clogging our line. And unlike most other plumbing companies, they also have their own vacuum truck, and sucked all the grease out of our front yards underground catch basin. I cant recommend enough their expertise, their specialized equipment, and their attractive pricing. A terrific combination and value.

I've had a slow draining bathtub for years that finally got to the point of having a half filled bathtub after showering. Donny was my tech that came out (can't remember his assistants name unfortunately) but in less than 2 hours had my pipes snaked & tub is now draining great! He advised me that at some point I'll probably have to change the original larger pipes below that the tub leads to as they are 76 years old which isn't cheap but for now I'm good. Also the girl that I spoke with to set up the appointment was very nice & very accommodating for the scheduling of the appointment. The pricing was fair and I couldn't be any happier with Suburban plumbing
